Boost Your HSC English Skills with Our Expert-Led Seminar.

Camden Libraries is thrilled to invite local HSC students to an exclusive English Seminar led by Larry Grumley. Larry has extensive experience as a senior marker for HSC English exams. Additionally, he has authored numerous study guides, including the popular Excel and Warrigal guide.

This seminar aims to equip students with essential study skills and strategies to excel in their English exams. It is suitable for those enrolled in both HSC Advanced English and Standard English courses.

Camden Libraries offers three excellent branches for HSC study: Camden, Narellan, and Oran Park. Each location provides an ideal environment for students to excel in their academic pursuits. Whether you prefer focused individual study, collaborative group brainstorming sessions, or simply need a cozy atmosphere to help manage stress, our libraries are here to support you. With dedicated study spaces, resources, and a welcoming ambiance, Camden Libraries is committed to helping HSC students achieve their best results in a comfortable and conducive setting.

Resources

To maximise your HSC marks, you need to use a variety of resources and we can help.

Study Guides are located in the Youth section of our libraries. They can be located in the Library catalogue by doing a general keyword search for the name of a subject, along with the words 'study guide*'. For example, HSC English study guide* (Tip. * searches for guide and guides).

Try searching for articles and information in thousands of magazines, journals, newspapers, encyclopedias and reference books with our E-Research Resources or through the State Library E-Resources.

Study Spaces

If you need somewhere to study we have plenty of space in all three of our libraries. Narellan and Oran Park Library have individual study desks as well as bookable study rooms. Bookable study rooms are for study purposes only and appropriate student identification needs to be shown upon arrival to use these rooms. For more information see here.
