Jozee Singh is a 47-year-old artist known for her evocative abstract works in acrylic and watercolour. She is from the Macarthur region and grew up in New Zealand, where she stayed for 25 years.
Her art is more than just a visual experience—it carries hidden messages and subtle imagery that invite viewers to look deeper. Every brushstroke and colour choice in her paintings tells a story, often revealing layers of meaning upon closer inspection. Jozee’s work is characterized by fluid movements, rich textures, and an interplay of light and shadow that evoke emotion and curiosity. She draws inspiration from personal experiences, nature, and human emotions, blending them into pieces that encourage introspection. Jozee’s art challenges perception, urging audiences to explore beyond the surface and uncover the hidden narratives within.

My name is Ruby Prasad and I’m 13 years old. I am a proud Wiradjuri and Dharug girl who loves to paint traditional aboriginal art based on stories I live and learn from my family and elders . I have been painting for about 2 years and my usual medium is acrylic paint on stretched canvas. I almost always include a local fauna or flora in my work.
