Book Week is very important to us. Every year we spend one glorious week celebrating books, Australian children's authors and illustrators. Every year is different, but we always create colourful displays and highlight stories from the Children's Book Council of Australia shortlist to highlight the importance of reading by showing the very best books.
The Book Week Colouring in Competition will open Monday August 3, 2026, and close August 29, 2026, at 3:00pm. You can collect and return the competition sheets at any of our locations or following the link below.

If you are a primary school and wish to visit our locations during this time, please use the form below to organise at date. This is open for kindergarten only.
