Camden Libraries Oral History Collection on Amplify
We are looking for digital volunteers to be a part of our Amplify project. Camden Libraries is working with Amplify to transcribe our invaluable oral history records, known as 'Camden Voices' on our library catalogue.
The State Library of NSW offers a digital platform called Amplify, which features audio collections from several cultural institutions in the state. Machine-generated transcripts accompany each audio file, which digital volunteers can edit online.
New oral histories will be uploaded as the current histories are transcribed by our volunteers. Help us preserve our past with this exciting new project that will make our Camden Voices more accessible for all.
