Book Chat Groups
We have two Book Discussion Groups that meet monthly at Camden Library to talk about a book they have read during the month. There is one Evening Group and one Daytime group.
Evening Book Chat Group
Meetings are held at Camden Library on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6.30pm.
Books for discussion include new and classic fiction and non-fiction.
For more information, please contact Camden Library Team Leader via email or phone 02 4654 7951.
Daytime Book Chat Group
Meetings are held at Camden Library on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 10am-12pm.
For more information or for expressions of interest for another group to be started, please contact Camden Library Team Leader via email or phone 02 4654 7951
Book Club Kits
Book Discussion Groups can also request items from our Book Club Kits collection.
Would you like to run your own book club? The library has a number of Book Club Kits available. A Book Club Kit contains 10 copies of a book, with a set of discussion questions to help your group get the conversation started.
You can hold your book group anywhere you like, and we will loan the kit to you for six weeks. There is no charge for the loan of these kits.
More information about our Book Club Kits can be found here.
Book Club Kits are available in a wide range of genres. You can download a list of current titles here.
